This is a gentle watercolour painting of the character Mavis. A cheery, rotund lady who is bathing her litter of mixed colour Labrador puppies in an old tin bath. There are many bubbles and a bale of pink polka dot towels hiding a little mouse. There is a Pears soap swirling around on the tiled floor. Mavis wears her apron with cherries on and has her own wet hair up in a polka dot towel twisted on her head.
