Sarah Hopkinson (Community Engagement and Investment Co-ordinator) from Keepmoat heard about Grandad’s War, book launch and has offered to donate some Champagne. Keepmoat Homes Yorkshire, are currently developing at the Millennium Village, building ‘The Potteries’.
Sarah said ‘We are delighted to be supporting this event, particularly at this time of year when we remember those who gave their lives for their country. We are really looking forward to reading ‘Grandad’s War’ as well as viewing the very personal collection of artefacts on display at the event’.
I am bowled over once again by the community spirit this project has shown me and the generosity and understanding people have with regards to never forgetting what our soldiers did so we can have freedom today.
A big emotional thank you to everyone who is supporting Grandad’s War.
